• Webcast: Methods Development and Validation in United States Environmental Regulatory Programs

David Friedman, Friedman Consulting
Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, also known as SW-846, is the compendium of analytical and test methods approved by EPA's Office of Solid Waste (OSW) for use in determining regulatory compliance under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act RCRA). SW-846 functions primarily as a guidance document setting forth acceptable, although not required, methods to be implemented by the user, as appropriate, in responding to RCRA-related sampling and analysis requirements.

Development of methodology and both "proof of concept" and multilaboratory validation will be described.
