A SureFire™ answer to screening for GPCRs and signaling pathways.

 

Overview

Utilizing PerkinElmer’s AlphaScreen technology combined with TGR Bioscience’s SureFire™ assays we have optimized an ideal screening tool for GPCRs and growth factor receptors as well as signaling pathways including MAPK.  These assays provide a cell-based environment for assaying modulation of receptor activation and can also be used to measure responses of intracellular kinase inhibitors for drug discovery.

Features and Benefits

  • Homogenous Cellular Assays:  No-wash, non-isotopic, miniaturizable cell based assays.

  • Suitable for over-expressed and endogenous receptors:  Extremely sensitive assay which can be used with cells over-expressing cloned targets or with cells expressing physiologically relevant endogenous levels or receptor target.

  • Use in any cell line, including primary cells:  Flexible assay format and application use.

  • Robotic friendly:  Easy to automate the HTS-proven AlphaScreen technology.  This technology is readily scaleable to 384- and 1536-well formats, while providing outstanding S/Bs and Z’ values.
