Summary Description
This online course will provide the student with the knowledge necessary to perform maintenance of the ICP Torch Assembly and Sample Introduction System of the OPTIMA 2100 and OPTIMA 5000 Dual View Series of Optical Emission Spectrometers.
Through the use of animation, photos and drawings, detailed information will be presented on the care, cleaning and procedures to properly keep the system in proper working order. Emphasis will be placed on the sample introduction system, torch assembly and purge windows.
In addition to maintenance, there will also be a section covering basic troubleshooting of the instrument. This will include most common scenarios and their solutions encountered in the operation of this instrument. This is a self paced course that will generally take one hour to complete.
