Thank you for your interest in the “Materials-Testing Applications by Headspace-GC/MS” webcast!

This webcast will take place on Tuesday, March 21st, 2006 at 2:00pm EST and will describe the benefits of headspace-GC/MS in materials testing applications such as food packaging or medical materials testing.

An expert in materials testing will give an overview of the headspace and headspace-trap technology. This will then be followed by detailed results and optimized method details for materials-testing samples.

During the webcast, standard QA/QC volatile lab requirements as well as research and development techniques will be discussed. In particular, details and suggestions on the use of the headspace and headspace-trap technology for successful analysis of materials-testing samples will be presented.

In addition to standard headspace methods, a discussion will take place regarding the advantages of the new headspace-trap technology for this industry. Headspace and headspace-trap technologies provide significant advantages over other sample-introduction systems. These advantages include: up to 100x better sensitivity, increased sample throughput by overlapped thermostatting, dry-purge technology and use of an onboard adsorbent trap to collect and focus the ‘whole’ headspace vapor.
