LumiLux Cellular Screening Platform — Breakthrough walk-away uHTS cellular imaging platform for both kinetic flash and glow luminescence assays using either adherent or suspension cells.

ViewLux™ ultraHTS Microplate Imager — This multilabel imager provides high sensitivity, extremely fast microplate imaging, and delivers throughput in excess of 200,000 samples per hour using 1536-well plates.

LANCEUltra technology — A new, improved homogenous TRF platform for TR-FRET assays enabling higher sensitivity, speed, and productivity in PerkinElmer’s high-throughput screening assay platform.

AlphaScreen SureFire assays — Enables researchers to easily screen GPCR activation in whole cells, through homogenous non-radioactive measurement of phosphor-ERK ½ in whole cell lysates.

Interactive, User-Focused Workshops

Automated Approaches to Biomarker Discovery, High Throughput RNAi Screening, and Cellular GPCR and Kinase Assays — This workshop examined several new automated approaches to biomarker discovery featuring the JANUS™ Automated Workstation for sample preparation and discussed a new ELISA replacement technology, AlphaLISA™, for biomarker detection. Recent advances in the automation of genetic analyses were also presented. Also, various approaches to cellular GPCR and Kinase screening featuring the LANCE® cAMP, SureFire™ Cellular Kinase platform and the LumiLux™ Cellular Screening Platform were presented.

New Validation and Optimization Techniques for the PerkinElmer JANUS platform Using the Artel MVS Multichannel Verification System — Users of automated liquid handlers need to ensure the accuracy and precision performance of their equipment in order to satisfy their quality system and regulatory requirements. Workshop participants learned about the latest capabilities of Artel MVS technology as well as the performance capabilities of the PerkinElmer JANUS Automated Workstation.

Automated Screening Solutions from PerkinElmer — PerkinElmer presented innovative solutions in automated liquid handling, detection and reagents for cellular screening. The JANUS portfolio of scaleable and modular automation systems will be presented demonstrating flexible high throughput solutions. Data for LANCE cAMP and luminescence cellular assays generated on the new JANUS Cellular Workstation was featured. Enabling assay miniaturization technologies were discussed featuring the NanoHead™. The LumiLux Cellular Screening Platform coupled with the flash luminescence aequorin technology and the new AlphaScreen® SureFire assay for cellular measurement of phosphorylated ERK1/2 kinases were also presented.
