BioMax MS film uses Kodak T-Grain emulsion technology to maximize interaction with beta particles. It is coated with emulsion on both sides of a clear base and is suitable for both manual and automated processing. Designed for maximum performance with 32P and 125I labels, BioMax MS film can also be used for detection of 35S, 33P, and 14C, though BioMax MR film provides increased background clarity with these isotopes. BioMax MS is also suitable for detection of chemiluminescence; however, BioMax Light film provides increased background clarity and can provide greater sensitivity in some cases.
