CHO PhotoScreen® P2RX2/P2rx3 Cell Line from PerkinElmer - USA

CHO PhotoScreen® P2RX2/P2rx3 Cell Line

Product number:   AX-014-PCL

Unit price:  This product is not available for online purchase.

Unit size:  1/KT

Stable recombinant CHO PhotoScreen® cell line co-expressing the human P2X purinoceptor 2 (P2X2) ATP-gated cation channel with the rat P2X purinoceptor 3 (P2x3) ATP-gated cation channel and the photoprotein i-Photina® for flash-luminescence assays. The clone has been selected to have mainly a P2RX2/P2rx3 heteromer response, and a protocol was developed to allow screening specifically of the P2RX2/3 heteromer response.

We provide two vials of cryopreserved CHO PhotoScreen P2RX2/P2rx3 cells (approximately 2.5 x 106cells/vial). The technical data sheet includes detailed cell line information as well as culture conditions and a protocol for the LumiLux® Cellular Screening Platform. The CHO PhotoScreen P2RX2/P2rx3 cell line has also been validated on the FLIPRTETRA® system and was also functionally validated by electrophysiology experiments.

All cell lines are tested for the absence of mycoplasma.

P2RX2/3 is a nucleotide-gated cation channel. Its peripheral nerve and spinal expression make it a target for persistent, chronic neuropathic and inflammatory pain therapy. P2X2/3 heteromers also have an important contribution in the mechanosensory transduction within the urinary bladder and represent a target for overactive bladder disfunction.

Terms and conditions apply. Some of our cell lines may be restricted for sale in specified countries. Please inquire at your local sales office for more information.
