AequoScreen® Cell Lines

The AequoScreen™ technology is a generic GPCR technology which can be used with Gs, Gi and Gq coupled GPCRs and calcium coupled ion channels. The product portfolio includes:

• Parental cell lines (expressing mitochondrially targeted apoaequorin with / without the promiscuous G-protein Gα16)
• Double transfected cell lines (expressing mitochondrially targeted apoaequorin and GPCR with / without the promiscuous G-protein Gα16)

Following GPCR stimulation, increases in intracellular calcium enable measurement of the resulting flash luminescence signal.
